Vintage Chinese 14kt Multi-Color Jade Teardrop Screwback Earrings
A wonderful pair of Vintage multi-color jade earrings from the 1960s era! Chinese in origin, each earring is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and features a gorgeous teardrop jade link which hangs from a beautiful topper. The bezel set jade displays a soft green color with subtle milky white marbling throughout. The complimentary topper is adorned with a trio of leaf-shaped jade stones, each one in a different color, including deep orange, soft green, and butter yellow. A smoothly polished curved gold "stem" weaves through the claw-set stones, adding a perfect eye-catching accent. A screwback earring post rests on the back, perfect for pierced or non-pierced ears and can easily be converted to a post, if desired. Stamped on the back of the screwback post is a "14K" gold purity mark, along with a Chinese character, and stamped on a small plaque on the back of the teardrop link is "EA," "HONG KONG," and another "14K585" gold purity mark. The earrings dangle with lovely movement, framing the face beautifully and would make a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/2" long, and measure 1/2" wide and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the jade stones are intact and securely set. The screwback earring posts are secure and in good working order.
