Vintage Large 14kt Spinning Globe Charm/Pendant

A fantastic Vintage spinning globe pendant from the 1960s era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this relatively large piece depicts a 3-dimensional globe of the world, which has a functional spinning design. A fantastic etched grid pattern adorns the entire surface, while each continent is embellished with a much finer pattern, both adding wonderful texture to the piece. The globe is riveted in place, allowing it to easily rotate within a smoothly polished spinner that gives the appearance that the globe "floats" within the center. A simple bail is attached at the top, perfect for hanging from a favorite chain or charm bracelet, and stamped below the bail is a "14K" gold purity mark. A fun and creative piece, this gorgeous charm pendant would make a wonderful addition to any world traveler's collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 5/8" long (including the bail at the top), and measures about 1 1/8" in total diameter and is slightly less than 1" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. The spinner mechanism and bail are secure and in good working condition.
