Vintage Large Gold-Filled & Multi Stone Scarab Bracelet

SKU: 44779

A beautiful and unusual Vintage scarab beetle bracelet from the 1950s! Created by BAL-RON, a high-quality costume jewelry company, that operated from 1947 to the 1960s. This lovely gold-filled bracelet is comprised of 5 large multi-stone scarab links. Each link portrays a single scarab beetle, with an oval-shaped body and a carved surface depicting its face and wings. The scarabs are held within a gold-filled bezel, which is open on both sides, allowing you to see the faux hieroglyph symbols carved on the underside. Included in the ensemble of stones are tiger's eye and striped red, green, blue, and black banded agates. The bracelet secures with a spring ring, and an oval-shaped tag stamped "BAL-RON 1/10 12kt GF" identifies the piece. It looks fantastic when worn and would make a stylish addition to any collection!

Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/4" long. The large scarab links measure 3/4" wide, 1" tall, and 11/32" thick.

Condition: The bracelet is in very good antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is a dent to the underside of the link holding the blue striped agate scarab, but it is in otherwise excellent condition. All of the carved scarab links are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
