A gorgeous and bold Vintage statement ring from the 1960s era! This stunning sterling silver piece is quite substantial in both size and appearance, and features a large rutilated quartz cabochon at the center. The incredible stone is clear and has naturally occurring needle-like inclusions of iridescent, rose-colored rutile that almost appear to "float," within the stone. A smoothly polished silver bezel surrounds the quartz, which rests in an open-back setting that allows light to pass through the center. Completing the design is a wide band that wraps around the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a "STERLING" silver purity mark. A fun and funky vintage piece, it has a bold look that would make a striking addition to any fashionista's collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5, but could be easily re-sized. The rutilated quartz cabochon measures approximately 1 1/8" long, 7/8" wide, and rests about 1/2" above the finger when worn. The wide band measures 11.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or to the rutilated quartz cabochon, which is intact and securely set.
