Vintage Large Sterling Turquoise Native American Cuff Bracelet
A fabulous Vintage Native American turquoise cuff bracelet from the 1960s era! This fabulous sterling silver piece is relatively wide and features a large turquoise stone set at the center its belly-front style cuff bracelet. The bezel set oval stone is surrounded by a twisted rope wire frame and an outer border of alternating round turquoise cabochon stones and beaded accents. A fantastsic design of nature inspired symbols decorate the silver surface of the cuff, including various sized arrows, birds, insects, suns and flower motifs. Some of the symbols are raised while others appear to be stamped, creating a wonderful textured appeal. The turquoise stones display beautiful light and dark green hues with the largest stone lightly marbled with natural mineral webbing throughout. The stone centerpiece rests on a darkened silver surface that makes the gorgeous beaded accents, raised symbols, and smoothly polished surface come alive. The cuff-style design has an opening at the back where the bracelet can be easily be slipped on and off. This stunning and eye-catching piece looks incredible when worn and is a must for any Native American jewelry collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/2" wide and 1 3/4" tall and the cuff opening measures 7/8" wide, perfect for an average to medium sized wrist. The surface of the belly front bracelet measures approximately 2 1/4" at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or to the turquoise stones, all of which are intact.
