Vintage Platinum Diamond Bypass Ring 1.30ctw
A stunning Vintage diamond ring from the 1960's era! This unique platinum piece features two rows of accent diamonds which flank a trio of Square Cut diamonds at the center to form a stylish bypass design. The larger stones weigh 1.00ctw combined, exhibiting I-J range color and VS1-2 range clarity, and the Round Cut accent diamonds graduate slightly in size, weighing 0.30ctw combined. Collectively, the overall diamond weight of the ring is approximately 1.30ctw. The larger, Square Cut stones are set slightly higher than the Round Cut stones, each resting asymmetrically in a channel-like setting, creating a fabulous and bold design. The sparkling stones catch the light beautifully with every turn, and a smoothly polished band tapers slightly towards the back. Stamped inside of the shank is a "10% IRID PLAT" platinum purity mark, beside the number, "1049E." A stylish and unusual diamond ring, it would make a unique engagement ring or could be perfect to mark a special occasion!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size scant 7, but could be re-sized. The bypass design measures approximately 1/2" wide, 5/8" tall, and rests 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
