Vintage Sapphire + Diamond Conversion Bar Pendant Necklace
A fabulous Vintage sapphire and diamond conversion pendant from the 1960s era! Crafted in 14kt gold, this lovely necklace features a stunning bar pendant, which displays a gorgeous alternating pattern of sapphires and sparkling round diamonds. The pendant, which is yellow gold, hangs beautifully along the neckline from a modern white gold chain, displaying two rows of gemstones. The vibrant alternating design has a checkerboard pattern, with each set of stones stacked vertically and separated by gold border on either side. The Round Cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.18ctw combined, while the gorgeous rich blue sapphires collectively have a total approximate weight of 0.22ctw. The channel set stones rest in an open back setting, their facets reflecting the light brilliantly with every turn. Both edges of the pendant are embellished with a final gold bar and attached at either end is a delicate white gold chain necklace that fastens in the back with a spring clasp stamped with a "585" gold purity mark." This beautiful and unique pendant necklace merges seamlessly into modern day fashion, and would make a perfect everyday accessory!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16" in total length. The bar pendant measures approximately 3/4" wide, a little less than 1/4" tall, and a little more than 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow or white gold setting. All of the diamonds and sapphires are secure and intact. The chain and clasp are secure and in excellent working condition.
