A breathtaking pair of sapphire and diamond earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and platinum, each earring features a central, bezel-set oval cut sapphire. The gorgeous sapphires, which have not been treated with heat, display a deep blue hue, which wonderfully complements the mixed metal look of the earrings. Together, the sapphires have an approximate total carat weight of 4ctw. The sapphires are encircled by a halo of bead-set rose cut diamonds, which are simply magnificent. The earrings are completed by platinum earring wires and yellow gold lever backs. A timeless pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special upcoming event or occasion!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 3/4" long (including the earring wires) and has a width of just under 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. All of the stones are intact and securely set, and the earring wires and lever backs are secure and in working order.
