A beautiful ruby and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! Made of platinum, this gorgeous ring has a lovely "step-up" style mounting. Two rows of diamond "steps" form the shoulders, framing a luscious 1.00ct ruby in the center. Resting on the steps of the shoulders are 10 sparkling diamonds in a delicate bead setting, the perfect accent to compliment the ruby! These smaller diamonds weigh approximately .09ctw with H-I range color and VS-SI1 range clarity. An airline cutout is visible from the side of the ring, and delicate milgrain and engraved detail completes the stunning Art Deco design. The tapered band is stamped "PLATINUM" inside the shank. This wonderful ring would look perfect worn on special occasions, or could make a unique gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6, but could be re-sized slightly. The center of the ring measures approximately 1/4" wide and 1/8" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The ruby and accent diamonds are all intact and securely set.
