This stylish vintage necklace is a signed Theodore Fahrner piece from the 1960s! The necklace is made of sterling gilt and has a lovely curved panel link design. Each decorative link has a textured surface with fine wirework and beadwork details. A row of delicate marcasite stones lines the upper edge of each link, providing a light sparkle! Completing the design is a complimentary chain comprised of leaf-like links, which meet at a spring ring clasp in the back. Stamped on the reverse side of the central link is the authentic signature hallmark, which reads "ORIGINAL FAHRNER 925" beside a small maker's mark. When worn, the necklace drapes nicely at the neckline. A perfect everyday accessory for the fashion-conscious woman, this vintage necklace would compliment any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16.5" long. Each curved panel link is 7/8" long, 1/2" wide, and 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling gilt setting. All of the links and connections are secure, and the marcasite stones are all intact. The spring ring clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition. There is a light patina on the surface of the gilt setting, which is normal for a vintage piece and provides additional depth to the design.
