Art Deco Moss Agate & Rock Crystal Beaded Necklace
An unusual beaded necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This beautiful piece features a row graduating moss agate beads, which are hand strung on complimentary green thread. In between each bead is a faceted rock quartz crystal spacer, adding a perfect sparkling accent. The moss agate beads are smoothly polished and display beautiful earthy green hues marbled with natural inclusions, giving the illusion that they "float" inside the stone. The hand strung and knotted necklace meets at a gold clasp in the back. This simple and attractive design is perfect for the agate lover, and would make a lovely everyday necklace!
Measurements: The entire necklace measures approximately 27.5" long. The smallest bead measures 5.68mm in size, and the largest center bead measures 15.87mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the moss agate beads or rock quartz crystal spacers, all of which are securely strung and free of any noticeable chips or scratches. The gold clasp is secure and in good working condition.
