A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this beautiful ring has a lovely "step-up" style mounting with three rows of diamonds on each shoulder and a gorgeous old European Cut diamond in the center. The center diamond is held in a four prong setting and weighs approximately 1.01ct. with G color and SI2 clarity. Resting on the "steps" of each shoulder of the ring are 5 single cut diamonds in a bead setting, which accent the center stone perfectly. These smaller diamonds weigh approximately .09ctw with H-I range color and VS-SI1 range clarity. The side of the mounting displays an attractive airline, and delicate milgrain detail completes the beautiful Art Deco design. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in November 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $11,000.00. It's a truly gorgeous and classically beautiful piece that would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.75 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
