A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white and yellow gold, this ring features a solitaire .73ct old European cut diamond. The stone is held within a clawed four-prong setting, and displays J color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by a box-frame, which is yellow gold-toned. The shoulders, gallery, and bridge of the mounting feature dainty filigree-detailing, which incorporates swirling and arch-motifs. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "14KT", "RE", and "ESPO". The diamond is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #76642085, which provides more information on the stone. A fantastic piece, this ring would make a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.5mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or gold-plating, and the diamond is intact and securely set.
