A fabulous onyx ring from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! Crafted in 14kt white gold, this lovely piece has a navette shaped centerpiece carved from rock quartz crystal. Four carved onyx sections frame the centerpiece, creating a wide, striking rectangular outline. A single accent diamond is set in the center, adding a wonderful sparkle and holding the navette rock crystal in place. A beautiful filigree wirework motif decorates the frame, sides, and shoulders of the ring, complete with fine milgrain detail and shapely cutouts that create a lacy appearance. Stamped inside the smooth shank is "14K" and the maker's initials "B.S.". A wonderful Art Deco ring, it would make a special addition to any vintage or contemporary jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.75, but could be easily resized. The navette shaped centerpiece measures just over 3/4" tall, 3/8" wide, and rests 1/4" high.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting. The rock quartz crystal and onyx plaques are intact and free of chips or scratches, and the accent diamond is intact.
