This stunning diamond engagement ring is from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, the ring has a gorgeous square mounting covered with etching and filigree detail. Resting at the center is a 1.78ct old European Cut diamond, G color, SI1 clarity, framed by four ellipses' cut petite emeralds in milgrained settings. The central diamond is held in place by four corners, each one elegantly etched with linework. Surrounding the center stone are ten assorted petite single cut diamonds, weighing a combined approximate .15ctw. Completing the elegant design are hand-engraved accents, fine milgrain detail, and delicate filigree creeping down either shoulder. Finishing the design is a plain, tapered shank, which is marked "950 IRID. PLAT". A GIA certification on the central diamond can be obtained upon request. A timeless and classic beauty, this vintage ring would make a very special engagement piece!
