A unique diamond and ruby ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, the front of this ring features a marquise-shaped centerpiece, which is encrusted with bead-set old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are bordered by a frame of channel-set ruby baguettes, which add a wonderful contrast. The shoulders of the ring are further adorned with both bezel and bead-set old mine cut diamonds, which are organized in a swirling-motif design. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 1.40ctw, and the rubies .25ctw. A fabulous ring, this piece would make a great addition to any Art Deco-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6, but could be easily resized. The band has a width of 1.5mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the stones are secure and intact.
