A wonderful Art Deco "Man in the Moon" pendant from the 1930s era! This whimsical piece features an alluring blue art glass center set within a sterling bezel frame. The design portrays a recognizable "Man in the Moon" face, which has intricate molded facial features for a realistic 3-dimensional look. The translucent art glass rests in a closed back setting, however the effect of the glass allows for light to enter and bounce around, brilliantly illuminating the face. At the top of the pendant is a simple bail which slides onto a complimentary modern sterling silver chain. This mysterious piece is very unique, and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant has a diameter of 7/8" and the chain measures 18"
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. There is a small crack above the right eye, however, the piece is secure and in very good wearable condition.
