A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k white gold and platinum, this ring features a 1.01ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a four-prong setting. The prongs are unique, and feature a three-clawed design. The diamond displays I color and SI1 clarity and is simply exquisite. The shoulders of the ring each feature 2 marquise cut diamonds, which are held within milgrained bezel-settings, and form a foliage-motif. Each shoulder also features an additional baguette cut diamond, which is held within a bezel-setting. Each shoulder is completed by a small single cut diamond, which is held within a four-prong setting. The complementary diamonds display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The central diamond is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #5231387419, which provides more information on the stone. An elegant ring, this piece would make an eye-catching engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.7mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
