An exquisite Estate sapphire and diamond ring! Crafted in platinum, this fantastic piece holds a stunning natural sapphire at the center, framed by sparkling diamonds at either shoulder. The Ceylon (Sri Lankan) sapphire has an exact weight of 3.70ct, and is beautifully faceted into a Modified Brilliant Oval Cut. It naturally exhibits a gorgeous cornflower blue color and has no indications of heat treatment. The shoulders of the ring boast three bezel-set Square Cut diamonds on each side, totaling 0.40ctw. The ring is completed by a polished band which is stamped "PLAT" inside alongside a small maker's mark. Accompanying the ring is a Sapphire Origin Report (#6224943582) issued in October of 2021 by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), which describes and confirms the sapphire's stated characteristics. A spectacular Estate ring, it would look incredible worn on special occasions, or could make an extraordinary gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be resized. The sapphire rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. Its dimensions are as follows: 11.14 x 8.34 x 4.00mm. The platinum band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The sapphire stone and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
