A gorgeous pair of earrings from the Victorian revival (ca1940s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, these earrings begin with a lovely gold surmount featuring three flowers and a twisted border. Hanging below is a decorative sphere with a fantastic enameled pattern of white tulips and red roses atop a black background. The spheres have wonderful Etruscan style detail and are finished by a smaller golden ball. Simple gold wires secure the earrings. They are a very unique pair and would make a great addition to any enamel collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 3/8" long including the earring wire. The surmount measures slightly less than 13/32" in diameter, and the sphere is slightly more than 13/32" in diameter.
Condition: The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The enameling is in good condition. The earring wires are secure.
