A beautiful pair of anchor earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each striking piece is crafted in sterling silver and forms the shape of a fantastic 3-dimensional anchor hanging from simple wires. Coiled around both the front and back of the smoothly polished piece is a twisted rope wire, adding a wonderful textural element and realistic appeal to the design. The anchor swings with lovely movement from a silver bead topper and finishes with a simple earring wire. A wonderful nautical-themed piece, these lovely earrings frame the face beautifully and would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 5/8" long and measures about 5/8" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
