A striking piece from the Victorian (ca1893) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this hinged bangle bracelet has a wonderful buckle motif. The top of the bracelet is engraved with a lovely foliate design and the buckle's hardware is smoothly polished. The underside of the bracelet is smoothly polished, and the bangle is secured with a push clasp. Stamped inside the shank are multiple English hallmarks, including the Birmingham symbols of an anchor and a lion, and the date letter "t," which dates the piece to 1893. The bracelet is marked with "H.B.", a makers' mark, an additional lion, and another "t". This bracelet's unique appeal merges seamlessly into modern-day fashion!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2" wide and 2" tall. The bracelet is approximately 3/4" wide.
Condition: The bracelet is overall in excellent condition. Other than normal surface ware, there is no damage to the silver details and the bracelet's hinge is secure and in good working condition.
