A fabulous Vintage necklace from the 1960s era! Crafted with sterling silver, this unique piece features ten oval-shaped links created by mixed elements. The links line the base of the necklace, with a single one dangling from the center, and are made of dark wood disks which have an alluring moonstone set in the surface. The moonstones are bezel set in an open back sterling setting, which allows for their beautiful translucence and vibrant blue flash to be seen. Modern sterling silver chain attaches to either side of the section of wood links, fastening at a lobster clasp marked "925". This one-of-a-kind piece fits perfectly into modern-day fashion and would make a beautiful addition to any collection.
Measurements: The necklace measures 16" in total length with a 1.5" drop at the center. The silver chain measures a total of 10" in length. The wooden ovals measure 11/16" by 1/2" wide and the moonstone cabochons are 3/16" in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the carved wood, moonstone cabochons, or to the sterling silver settings and chain.
