A wonderful figural pin from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14kt gold and silver, this decorative pin resembles a miniature ladies' folding fan and hand mirror set. Delicate Rose Cut accent diamonds line the fan and decorate the handle and top of the mirror, adding a beautiful sparkle! The glass-covered mirror has a reflective silver backing, and a removable locket frame rests on the reverse side, making it possible to store a small picture. At the base of the piece is a 3-dimensional flourish of gold ribbon, the perfect finishing touch. Hidden on the back of the piece is a secure bar pin and clasp. This charming antique keepsake piece would look lovely fastened to a favorite garment!
Measurements: The brooch measures approximately 1 1/2" tall, 5/8" wide, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting. All of the rose cut diamonds are intact and securely set. The pin clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the piece, which is a normal characteristic of vintage jewelry.
