A wonderful mixed metals charm/pendant from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! This charming piece is crafted in platinum and 14kt yellow gold and features the cutout image of an old fashioned automobile which rests in the center of a circular border. The car features fantastic detail reminiscent of Edwardian era vehicles, including an extended steering wheel, large tires, a roomy seat and a vibrant hood ornament at the front, represented by a single emerald stone. The piece also adorns several old Rose Cut diamonds which detail the seat, hood and two small stones, set where the hubcaps are found. The diamonds add a beautiful sparkle as well as a textured look to the car and the mixed metal elements create a striking appearance. The charm has a simple platinum bail at the top, perfect for hanging from a chain and worn as a pendant or adding to a special charm bracelet. The lovely piece would make a wonderful addition to any vintage charm collection and would be perfect for the classic automobile enthusiast!
Measurements: The charm/pendant hangs 1” long (including the bail at the top), has a diameter of a little less than 5/8”, and is 1/8” thick.
