An absolutely beautiful onyx cross pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This lovely piece is crafted in platinum and forms the shape of a striking block cross. The front surface of the cross displays 10 calibrated French Cut onyx stones, and one Emerald Cut diamond which rests at the center. The diamond has an approximate total weight of 0.20ctw and exhibits H color and VS1 clarity, pairing beautifully with the rich onyx hue. The surface facets of the onyx soften the bold, black color, catching the light with every turn, and the sparkling diamond perfectly completes the look. The pendant hangs from a simple platinum bail, ready to be hung from a favorite chain. This beautiful pendant looks simply lovely when worn and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The cross pendant hangs approximately 1 1/8" long, is a little more than 5/8" wide, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or bail. The onyx stones and diamond are securely set and intact.
