Victorian 14kt Carved Onyx Teardrop Earrings
A beautiful pair of onyx earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each of these lovely earrings features an elongated teardrop link that hangs from a bead and 14kt gold wire surmount. A black enameled cap tops the teardrop links, adding a subtle gold and black color variation. The onyx stones are smoothly polished for a rich, glossy finish. Their bold, solid black color is very striking and looks wonderful paired with the yellow gold accents! The clasped wires fasten in the back, providing extra security when worn. These stylish Victorian earrings look stunning worn in the modern day, and would be beautiful worn day or night!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/8" long, including the gold wires at the top. The bead surmounts measure 6mm each. The teardrop links are 1 1/2" long and 3/8" thick at the base.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. All of the banded agate beads are intact and free of of any noticeable chips or scratches. The sterling wires are secure and in good condition.
