The realistic buckle motif is complete with engraved notches and a strap tucked under a belt loop. Completing the design is a wide band, which is left simple and smooth. Stamped inside the shank are multiple English hallmarks, including the Birmingham symbols of an anchor and a lion, and the date letter "c," which dates the piece to 1900. The maker's initials "CL" can be found inside, along with an engraved inscription that reads "F. Edwards."
