Victorian Silver & Enamel Cherub Charm Bracelet

A lovely charm bracelet from the Victorian era (ca1880) with a cherub motif! This sweet and charming piece is comprised of six small enameled charms that hang from a silver infinity link bracelet. The enameled image has a hand-painted appearance, depicting an angelic cherub in the clouds, resting its chin on one hand while gazing dreamily in the heavens. A silver border with fine engraved detail frames each portrait. The infinity-shaped links have a double wrapped wire design, fastening together with a watch swivel clasp at the end. A very charming Victorian piece, it would look lovely worn on its own or layered with other charm bracelets!

Measurements: The entire bracelet measures 7 3/4" long and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. The enameled charms vary in size and shape, measuring approximately 1/2" each on average.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to the enamel detail. All seven of the charms are intact, and the watch swivel clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is a natural patina present on the surface of the silver, which is normal and gives the piece a darkened antiqued look, adding depth to the design.
