Italian jewelry designer Aldo Cipullo apprenticed at his father's jewelry factory in Florence before moving to New York in 1959. He began his career working for both Tiffany & Co. and David Webb, but soon transitioned to work as a designer for Cartier, where he left his mark on jewelry history forever. While at Cartier, Cipullo designed the iconic Love Bracelet, the Nail Collection, and the "Hamsa Hand" or "Hand of the Heart" pendant. He left Cartier in 1974 to work as a freelance designer, winning multiple awards and continuing to expand his prestige. Though he died suddenly in 1984, his legacy continues today, and his iconic designs are still ever popular and fashionable in the modern era.

A gorgeous Hamsa Hand pendant by legendary jeweler, Aldo Cipullo from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in 18k vibrant yellow gold, this hand-shaped pendant is comprised of a hand carved piece of jade. The jade displays an incredible sea-foam green hue, and features subtle while marbling. The hand is decorated with gold fingernails, an oval-shaped cutout at the center of the palm, and features a complimentary gold bail, which would allow the pendant to easily attach to a favorite gold chain. The back of the pendant features a gold frame, which is marked "18K" and with the Aldo Cipullo signature. An absolutely extraordinary signed piece, this pendant would make a spectacular addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The pendant has a length of 2" (including the bail) and a width of 1".

Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition. There is no damage to the gold setting or bail, and the jade stone is secure and intact.
