A fabulous navette ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this lovely piece features a navette-style centerpiece. The centerpiece features a rock quartz crystal plaque, which is centered by an additional inlaid onyx plaque. The onyx plaque features a singular, .10ct old European cut diamond. The diamond is bead-set, and surrounded by an additional hexagonal-shaped frame. The remainder of the centerpiece features delicate filigree detailing, which incorporates arch, foliage, and blooming-floral cutouts. The shoulders of the ring feature dainty wheat-motif engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark, and a maker's mark which reads: "PSCO". A lovely example of Art Deco-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a bold addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements:The ring his a size 8, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.38mm, and the centerpiece has a height of 7/8" and a width of 3/8".
Condition:The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting. The rock quartz crystal and onyx plaques are intact and free of chips or scratches, and the accent diamond is intact and securely set.
