A marvelous engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 18k white gold, this ring features a solitaire .20ct old European cut diamond. The diamond is bead-set, and displays J color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by a marquise-shaped frame, and an additional hexagonal-shaped frame. The gallery and the shoulders of the ring feature intricate filigree-detailing. Each shoulder of the ring also features small, delicate engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the ring is stamped with an "18K" purity mark. A lovely example of Art Deco-era craftsmanship, this piece would make an exquisite engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting, and the diamond is secure and intact.
