A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This stunning piece is crafted in 18k white gold, and features a .40ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a clawed four-prong setting. The diamond displays H/I color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by an elaborate oval-shaped centerpiece, which is encrusted with bead-set single cut diamonds, and adorned with geometric cutouts. Each shoulder of the ring also features a small, bead-set single cut diamond, and the gallery of the ring features filigree-detailing. Overall, the smaller diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with an "18K" purity mark. A phenomenal piece, this ring would make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
