Art Deco Chinese Silver Gilt Turquoise & Enamel Dangle Earrings

A colorful pair of Chinese earrings from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in sterling silver gilt, each earring begins with a round surmount, which features a central, bezel-set, turquoise cabochon. The cabochon is surrounded by 4, floral-motifs, which are adorned with vibrant blue, enameled petals. The remainder of the surmount features twisting wirework and small three-dimensional gold balls. The earrings then feature 3, dangling extensions comprised of 3, bezel-set, pear-shaped, turquoise cabochons. The bezel-settings are further adorned with twisting wirework borders. Each cabochon is capped with blue, enameled foliage-motifs. The enameling ranges between aqua and royal blue hues, and all of the turquoise stones display a greenish-blue hue. The earrings are completed by simple posts and friction backs. A gorgeous pair, these earrings would make a unique addition to any antique jewelry collection!

Measurements: Each earring has a total length of 2" and measure 1/2" at their widest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the silver gilt setting, and the earring wires are intact and in working order. All of the turquoise stones and enameled details are intact.
