Art Deco Chrysoprase + Rock Crystal Bead Necklace 22"
A beautiful and colorful beaded necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This stunning piece is comprised of graduating chrysoprase beads, which alternate with rock quartz crystal spacers. The translucent chrysoprase beads are smoothly polished for a glassy appearance, displaying a variety of luscious natural green shades. Each rock quartz crystal disc resting in between is clear with a faceted edge, catching the light to deliver a soft sparkle. The beads are hand strung on white thread, and meet at a gold-filled spring ring clasp in the back. When worn, the necklace hangs beautifully below the neckline, making a colorful and eye-catching statement piece!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 22" in total length. The chrysoprase beads graduate in size, with the largest center bead measuring approximately 12mm in size, and the smallest beads at the ends measuring about 4mm each.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the chrysoprase beads or rock quartz crystal spacer. The stones are all intact and securely strung, except for one spacer, which is missing near the back of the necklace and is not noticeable when worn due to its location. Some of the chrysoprase beads display natural inclusions and soft color variations, which is a normal attribute of natural stones, and adds to their unique beauty. The gold-filled spring ring clasp is secure and in good working condition.
