Art Deco Platinum Diamond Drop Pendant Necklace

A lovely diamond pendant necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this necklace begins with a dainty cable chain, which secures with a simple, engraved, box-shaped push clasp. The tongue of the push clasp is marked "40%". The push clasp is further secured with a figure-eight safety mechanism. The center of the necklace features 5, bezel-set diamonds, which beautifully drape down from the chain. The diamonds vary slightly in size, with the bottommost stone being significantly larger than the other diamonds. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .60ctw. The four, smaller stone display H/I color and SI1-SI1 clarity, and the largest diamond displays J color and SI2 clarity.
