A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features a central, .90ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a bead-setting. The diamond displays G/H color and SI1 clarity, and is further surrounded by a sleek square-shaped frame. The shoulders of the ring feature a unique heart-motif cutout design, and are encrusted with small single cut diamonds, which are also bead-set. The shoulders of the ring also feature delicate twisting-motif engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank features an "IRID PLAT" purity mark, and a personal engraving which reads: "E.F.D.". A lovely example of Art Deco-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.42mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
