A gorgeous diamond and sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in sleek platinum, this ring features a rectangular centerpiece, which is encrusted with stones! The centerpiece features 3 large diamonds, which are wonderfully faceted. The central diamond is a .55ct old mine cut diamond, which is held within a prong-setting and displays G/H color and SI1-SI2 clarity. The central diamond is nestled between two smaller old mine cut diamonds, which are also prong-set and have an approximate total carat weight of 1ctw. The smaller diamonds display H/I color and SI1 clarity. Each diamond is surrounded by a border of baguette cut sapphires. The 12 deep blue sapphires are all held within bezel-settings, and have an approximate total carat weight of .50ctw. The remainder of the centerpiece features lovely milgrain and filigree-detailing. The shoulders of the ring feature dainty engravings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A fantastic example of Art Deco-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds and sapphires are secure and intact.
