A lovely sapphire and diamond filigree ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, the ring holds a .91ct sapphire at the center of a filigree mounting. Delicate single cut diamonds decorate the fine filigree wirework border, adding a gorgeous sparkle to the design! Collectively, the accent diamonds weigh approximately .20ctw, and have varying color and clarity ranges. The lacy cutouts, fine milgrain details, and hand-engraved accents provide the perfect finishing touches to the exquisite setting. Underneath is a smooth band, stamped "PLATINUM" inside the shank. This wonderful Art Deco ring would look wonderful worn on special occasions, or could make a beautiful gemstone engagement piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could be resized. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger, and the tapered band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the handmade platinum setting. The sapphire and all of the accent diamonds are intact and securely set.
