A lovely two strand white opal necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Graduated iridescent white opals flash a wonderful rainbow of color, between Chrystal beads. The opals are translucent and their nearly-neon hues truly glow from within. The necklace is secured by a an elegant 14kt white gold clasp which is detailed with nine old mine cut diamonds. It's a lovely and easy to wear piece and would make a perfect addition to any opal lover's collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 18" in length. The beads range from about 1/8" to 3/8" in diameter.
Condition: The necklace is in very good antique condition. The opal beads are all intact and securely strung. The silk cord displays normal signs of wear, but it is not significantly visible when worn. The diamonds are intact and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
