A fantastic turquoise bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This unusual piece is crafted in gold gilded sterling silver and has a captivating and bold design. The bracelet is composed of three rectangular sterling pieces with three turquoise nuggets bezel set in each and surrounded by miniature sun-like relief work. In between the sterling panels are 33 more turquoise nuggets, all strung on white silk cord and hand-knotted between each stone. The bracelet comes together at a simple box clasp hidden within one of the three sterling panels. A very striking Art Deco bracelet, it is a substantial statement piece and would be a unique addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7" in length, 1 3/8" in width, and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting. The push clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition. The turquoise stones are intact and securely set and the silk cord is in good overall condition. Some of the gilding has rubbed away with wear over the years, but this only adds to the allure of this antique bracelet!
