A striking snake ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow, white, and rose gold, this ring is represented by 3, distinct, connected bands. Each band displays the body of a snake, who are all shown to be eating their own tails. The body of each serpent is decorated with texturizing engravings, which represent scales. The yellow and rose gold snake feature engraved eyes and nostrils. However, the white gold snake instead features a singular, bead-set round cut ruby. The ruby displays a luscious pinkish-red hue. The inside of the shank is marked with a "14K" purity mark. A lovely mixed metal piece, this ring would make a bold addition to any antique ring collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 8, and could be resized slightly. The band has a width of 4.8mm.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. There is no apparent damage to the mixed metal setting, and the ruby is intact and securely set.
