An absolutely gorgeous and colorful ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s) era! This stunning piece is crafted in 18k yellow gold, and features a wonderful centerpiece. The front of the ring features a single prong-set single cut diamond, which is surrounded by a starburst-motif engraving. The diamond is bordered on both the left and right by 2 bezel-set demantoid garnets, which display a vivid, light green hue. The front of the ring also features a swirling-motif cutout design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is marked with 2 personal engraving which read: "R.C." and "K.A.M". The inside of the shank is also marked with a maker's mark which reads: "L&W" and small hallmarks which include 2 crowns, 2 "18" marks, an anchor, and a "g". These hallmarks indicate that the piece was crafted in Birmingham, England in 1906. A wonderful example of Art Nouveau-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.3mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the stones are secure and intact.
