An incredible class ring by Bailey, Banks, and Biddle from the Art Deco (ca1925) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this highly unique ring features a square-shaped face. The front of the face features an oval-shaped motif, which is centered by a caduceus. The caduceus is surrounded by another oval-shaped frame which features the words: "MOUNT SINAI TRAINING SCHOOL". The remainder of the face is decorated with deep black enameling. The shoulders of the ring are marked "19" and "25", which refers to the year 1925 in which the ring was crafted. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is marked with the Bailey, Banks, and Biddle maker's mark and an original personalized engraving which reads: "Ruth Miller". A sentimental and special piece, this ring would make a fantastic gift for any medical professional or student!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.75, but could easily be resized. The gold band measures 3mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The enameling is secure and free of any chips or damages.
