A striking Bulova watch from the Retro (ca1940) era! This fabulous wristwatch is made of solid platinum and the face has a regal, ivory-colored face with 42 bead-set single cut diamonds set into platinum for the hour marks. The watch case is also accented with two rows of baguette-cut diamonds just north and south of the 12 and 6, with a cumulative estimated carat weight of 0.42ctw for the baguettes. The band is composed of interlocking half-round and pyramid shaped tanker style links that are pinned together to form a beautiful woven gate-lock style bracelet around the wrist. On the backside of the watch case, you'll notice the Bulova name, as well as "100 IRIDIUM 900 PLATINUM", and the number 0039109. The same platinum purity mark can be found at the clasp as well as the Bulova name again. When wound, the watch keeps time and ticks away perfectly. The watch comes with a celluloid and red velvet Bulova giftbox. There is one row of extra links included with the watch in the event you need to extend the watch. It's a very special piece that looks simply marvelous on. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
