CARTIER Vintage Gold Vermeil Tank Française Wristwatch

An elegant Cartier "Tank Française" wristwatch from the Vintage (ca1970s) era! Crafted in gold vermeil and completed by a black leather band, this piece features a square-shaped face. The black face of the watch is contrasted by white Roman numerals, 2 hands, and a square-shaped border which contains 60 dashes. The face of the watch also features the words: "just de Cartier" and "SWISS". The face is surrounded by a gold-toned frame, and the crown of the watch features a bezel-set sapphire cabochon. The black band of the watch is completed by a gold-toned watch clasp, and the inside of the band is stamped "CARTIER". The backside of the case is stamped with the Cartier signature, the word "PARIS", small floral and swan hallmarks, a "925" purity mark, the words "ARGENT", "PLAQUE OR G 20 M", "SWISS", and with a serial code which reads: "3035990". The watch is accompanied by a Cartier guarantee card and a small booklet. A fashion-forward watch, this piece would look exceptional worn on any wrist!
