The piece is a ring from the Georgian (ca1750s) era! This ring is crafted in 18k gold and topped in sterling silver. A singular emerald-cut emerald rests at the center, which is held within a closed foil-back setting. The stone displays a luscious, vivid green hue. Each shoulder of the ring features two rose cut diamonds, which are held within bead-settings and are wonderfully faceted. Intricate scrolling and linear etchings detail also adorn the shoulders of the ring. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A gorgeous piece, this ring would make a lovely gift for any antique jewelry lover!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8 but could be resized slightly.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling-topped gold setting, or to any of the diamonds or the emerald stone, all of which are securely set.
