A bold dragon ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and platinum, this ring depicts the curling body of a dragon. Uniquely, the band seamlessly transitions from yellow gold to platinum, as the neck of the creature and its tail meet. The dragon's head and tail feature wonderful engravings, which add to the lifelike look of the beast. The dragon's eye is represented by a bezel-set mine cut diamond, and an additional, bezel-set sparkling stone is held within its open jaws. Together, the two small diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw, and display J/K color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A marvelous mixed metal ring, this piece would make a striking addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 8.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.66mm.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. There is no apparent damage to the mixed metal setting, and the diamond is intact and securely set.
