A breathtaking sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k gold and topped in platinum, this ring features a central 1.05ct oval cut sapphire. The sapphire is held within an eight-prong setting, and displays a wonderful deep, rich blue hue. The sapphire is encircled by a halo of mine cut diamonds, which are held within shared prong-settings and encircled by an exterior frame. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 1.25ctw, and display I/J color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A gorgeous piece, this ring would make a spectacular gift for any loved one!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25, but could be easily resized up or down if desired. The band has a width of 1.63mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. The sapphire and diamonds are all secure and intact.
