A stunning diamond and pearl necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! This feminine piece stars a wonderful pendant centerpiece crafted in platinum-topped 14kt yellow gold. Thirteen old European Cut diamonds adorn the flowing wirework, beautifully sparkling in the light with every turn. A double strand of lustrous white seed pearls attach at both sides of the pendant, completing the fabulous look. The necklace secures at an elegant wirework hook clasp, stamped "14K", adorned with a Single Cut diamond. Measurements: The necklaces measures approximately 18.75" in total length. The pendant measures nearly 13/16" tall and 1 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall conditions of the pendant and pearls are excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. The diamonds are all free of damage and securely set and the pearls are intact and securely strung. The clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is an additional bail located at the bottom of the pendant's underside that previously would have been used to hang an additional pendant.
